Some features that make The Northumberland Manuscript unique:

It is the contemporary document on which Shakespeare’s name is written most frequently. The name "William Shakespeare" is scribbled more than ten times on this piece of paper.

It is one among very many contemporary manuscripts that mention Shakespeare’s name together with names of his plays, making it a handwritten Shakespeare-document of literary relevance.

It is the only contemporary handwritten document in the world that has fragments and quotes from Shakespeare plays, apart from Bacon's own notebook. We can read a version of the long word from “Love's Labour's Lost”: “Honorificabilitudine”, and a passage from A Lover's Complaint.
